“Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” Zechariah 4:6
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
Abba, I'm done trying to save myself. Truly, I surrender. No more striving for perfection, ruminating over every sin after I've confessed it, steeping in shame like I'm a teabag, needing to be immersed until every darkness is wrung out. No more naval-gazing or being sucked into the vortex of my own intuition—as if I know what's best. No more vice, like attempted control over every crumb I eat, every word I hear, everything I see. No more attempting to form Christ in me, through sheer will (as if my will was strong anyway). You are downloaded deep into the fiber of my being. Absorbed in every strand of DNA. I want to delete every ad on. I will rely on your strength, I will yield to your desires, I will announce your words, I will lay down my crown and bow before the King of Kings.
